  1. Looking for 2 for the Wiltern, got my shift at work covered so my brother could get a chance to see them. I was at the show last night and knew that he couldn't miss out.

Preferably GA but DEFINITELY not necessary. Thanks!

  2. i definitely appreciate vin scully but actually prefer charlie steiner.

WOW!!.... I'm a die hard dodger fan, who right now is dieing from that loss last night... and I Along with hundreds think Charlie steiner is pretty awful... He can't call flyballs, he makes every flyball sound like its heading for the fences... Scully is just on another level, he knows when not to talk unlike all announcers around now

  3. ANYONE PLEASE HELP! (Pun intended)... I would love to download the mono set in flac but since my downloading heyday is over I don't have an account to the exclusive sites... I had an oink account but we all know how that went... Any help (invite?) would be greatly appreciated, TIA- David

  4. Jim Ford is the shit!........ everyone who doesnt know of him should definitely get poptodds sampler disc.. Harlan County is a great album and the extra tracks on the disc he got has a really great cover of Sam Cookes "Chain Gang"..... someone that really slipped through the cracks

  5. Nope....... :ohwell......... I went to the venue, was first in line hoping they would release some tickets but nothing

and I went with my brother and friend so off scalpers 3 tickets wasnt gonna happen so after about

an hour we called it quits and took off.............

BUT they're playing tonight in Pomona which is about a 45 min drive so were going out there to catch em :D

So what happened anyway? Did you see 'em?
  6. So I've procrastinated on buying my ticket to their show tonight and now its sold out........

Should I look on craigslist and try my luck, wait and try and buy off scalpers or just

show up early to the venue and hope they sell a couple tickets at the door ??..... Any input would be appreciated :thumbup

  7. I've always felt like there are 4 Beatles eras, I go 62-64 or "Please Please Me- Beatles For Sale" 65-66 "Help-Revolver" 67 "Sgt. Pepper-MMT" and 68-70 "White Album-Let It Be" .... Maybe thats just me though................ Even though I consider the white album my favorite, my favorite era would be the help-revolver one...... so on the poll rubber soul to magical mystery tour

  8. Yes, and they always will be........ I have fond memories of listening to "please please me" in my aunts car when I was 5 it was always #'s 1 & 14, "I saw her standing there" and "twist and shout" I got the cd for my 6th b-day (which I actually still have 13 years later) and that really started my infatuation. Though I can go months without cracking out a Beatles cd and have a sudden addiction to other bands/artists recently Andrew Bird & the Grateful Dead I always ALWAYS end up going back to what started it all for me :thumbup

ps. Another Great Beatles song that doesn't get much recognition is the great "It's all too much" :guitar
