  1. Got my tickets and booked a place north of Pittsfield in the Berkshires. Guess its about a 30 minute drive/17 miles to North Adams. We also had to pay for the room in advance, but oh well.

  2. Being a fan of both Wilco and Ryan Adams (who have gone down very separate roads musically since the y'allternative days), I'm personally getting a kick out of how worked up everyone is getting over this. Seriously? If Wierd Al would've been the one talking about Wilco in designer clothes on that video no one would have given a damn...

  3. Here's something worth looking into. I go to Chicago for weekend trips quite often with a group of friends and we often book condos through a company called athomeinnchicago.com. They rent out extended stay (and very nice) condos for business travelers, and have a minimum 3 night stay policy (it may be two nights actually). Usually, for four of us for a two bedroom condo that has a kitchen, bath, living and dining room it's around $1200 bucks for three nights, which is a steal compared to most of the hotels around there (about $300 per person for the whole weekend). We've saved a lot of money (that we spent on great concerts and restaurants) by doing this, so it's worth checking out. They have locations all over Chicago, and most of them are close to the L.

  5. I've given a stab at tabbing this new Loose Fur song, which I think is kinda cool. It seems right to me, but I'm open to suggestion on changes.

  6. does anyone know the official lyrics to "panthers" cause there are parts that i think are wrong on the original post for it's tabs...and i can't make out some of the lyrics and it's driving me insane...lolz

    here's the lyrics from bemydemon.org

    Panthers

    Temper is a package

    Pulling at its bow

    Darling disasters

    Help you grow

Panthers build their blood to bury

Daughters leave their dads to marry

    Hide in the weeds

    The orchestra

    Is proving death again

Temper is the warp speed of red flashes

And all the bells ringing god forbid, god forbid

Did I catch you in the flashes?

Did I catch you in the flashes?

    Hide with me

    In the weeds

    I'm proving death

    Alive in the weeds

    The orchestra

    Is proving death
