  1. Little Rock :dancing That is awesome, Venue is pretty nice. Seats around 1700 i think. Norah Jones just played there.

     

    Oh and I noticed a flyer last night at the Ryan Adams show, pretty sure the snowden show will be move to the GPAC in germantown unless I read the flyer wrong.

     

    Any idea when the show, whether it's in Snowden or the GPAC, will go on sale? I'd prefer the GPAC because it's ten minutes from my apartment and the acoustics are wonderful. I was at the Ryan Adams show, too. Fantastic performance, but I would've liked an encore. Alas.

  2. I think Austin is a great city. I lived for there for six years. I'd like to go to ACL this year, but I don't think I'll be able to. The last time I went was in '05--last time Wilco was there. As good as the bands were that year, the thing I'll remember most is the weather that Sunday. It reached 109 and the park was like the Dust Bowl.

     

    Anyone know if Wilco will play a show at a local venue on another day? In '05 they played a show at Stubbs the day befor they played at ACL.

    During the long interlude, I sloppily play (half fingerpick, half strum with fingers) the tab progression used during "of simple paths" and hammer/pull off the high E on the second fret (a D chord shape in standard tuning)

     

    Once the interlude ends, pick up with the intro progression until the verse begins. The verse progression then finishes out the song.

     

    I'm sure there are some nuances I've missed, but this should serve as a means to play the song rather accurately. Again, if anyone figures out the part leading into the bridge, please post it.

  4. I haven't ever heard the solo version, but I'm assuming it has the same melody, just played in a different key (G on capo 4) rather than B, in standard tuning, right?

  5. Do any tabs exist for this? Couldn't find anything in a search. Anyone have any ideas on the tuning? Sounds like some drop-D variant, but I'm not sure what.

     

    The song is in Open G tuning. I've found a tab for it before, although I don't recall what site; maybe it was altcountrytab.com. The tab has a few errors, but it's a good place to start. The rest you can figure out by ear.
