  1. Terrific show! Mountain Bed, the encores were indeed nice. I was thrilled with "Red-Eyed and Blue" and "I Got You."
  2. Any idea when the show, whether it's in Snowden or the GPAC, will go on sale? I'd prefer the GPAC because it's ten minutes from my apartment and the acoustics are wonderful. I was at the Ryan Adams show, too. Fantastic performance, but I would've liked an encore. Alas.
  3. I think Austin is a great city. I lived for there for six years. I'd like to go to ACL this year, but I don't think I'll be able to. The last time I went was in '05--last time Wilco was there. As good as the bands were that year, the thing I'll remember most is the weather that Sunday. It reached 109 and the park was like the Dust Bowl. Anyone know if Wilco will play a show at a local venue on another day? In '05 they played a show at Stubbs the day befor they played at ACL.
  4. So did my tab work for anyone? I know it's questionable in spots, but I think it's pretty close.
  5. Well, apparently altcountrytab.com has gone belly up, so I'm going to take a stab at tabbing this one by ear. Please forgive what will likely come out as crappy type setting. Just listen to the song to figure out the rhythm of the progression. Tuning from low to high: DGDGBD Intro./Between verses ------------------------------------------------------------- ------------------------------------------------------------- ---------0--------------- 2----------0-----2-0------------ -------0-----0----------------------0--0--------0---------- --------------------4---2------0---------0---------
  6. I haven't ever heard the solo version, but I'm assuming it has the same melody, just played in a different key (G on capo 4) rather than B, in standard tuning, right? If that's the case, then the chords are as follows (The chord spacing will likely get screwed up once I post the reply, but listening to the song, it's easy to tell where the changes should fall): G C GC Why, I wonder, is my heart full of holes? G C GC And the feeling goes but my hair keeps growi
  7. The song is in Open G tuning. I've found a tab for it before, although I don't recall what site; maybe it was altcountrytab.com. The tab has a few errors, but it's a good place to start. The rest you can figure out by ear.
