thats the HH, my mate has one. never played it but he seems to like it
yeah the HH comes in a standard 6 string electric and a baritone version. given nels' has played baritones before i am curious as to which model it is

Nels is sporting a new Jaguar with humbuckers... anyone know if it is the normal 6 string version or the baritone?
-
what amps are they? new reissue ac30s/ ac50s?

Ooook Photobucket is being nice again.
Here's the third and final Jazzmaster Nels uses with the stickers all over it.
I didnt know Nels liked Jaguars? I thought he was a died in the wool Jazzmaster dude, interesting.
Sure someone has posted this link before but Nels talks all about his gear right here: http://www.nelscline.com/tech.html
Is the red SG a 69? I wish the rest of the band had a definitive gear list... I know it would be huge but what a great read it would be.

where can you purchase Crowther online? i know they are a British company...
Crowther is actually a New Zealand company started by former Split Enz drummer Paul Crowther.

Anyone know what pedal is used at the start of the song Kamera off the enhanced EP?
-
given that B3s alone go for between USD8-14k, 500k would most certainly be an under valuation when including all guitars and amps.

I don't think there's anything that irritates me more than a solo performer looping and sounding like a band. It reeks of unconfidence and kitsch, but that's just me.
J Mascis does a nice job solo acoustic with looping effects. He is a big user of ZVEX pedals.

A few years back, I eBay'd one of these things. Long story short, the previous owner had modded it to run from a 9v adapter (it's not your normal 9v/120w, it's a weird wattage) rather than the battery. So, I love the pedal and all, but it's uber-fussy about being used with any other pedals. I've tried using it first, last, in between, and everything else you can imagine. So, anyone else know where it needs to go in a line to get it to run well, or is it the adapter mod?
the folk on the effects forum over at harmonycentral.com are yr best bet. the owner/inventor of zvex - zachary vex is a regular poster as well

i thought he used new ones for touring?

Clay dot markers, no neck binding... makes it a pre 65 guitar... so its dated somewhere between 62-65 i reckon...
its such a frankenstein guitar... very sonic youth.
