I know- I like that as well---he played it that way the night before, so it was a nice contrast between the two. It was funny because he said the "high version is so much harder to sing!" Very cool that he did that for us.,

Jeff was taking audience requests one night at The Vic and he picked me out. I thought I'd be bold and ask him to play "If That's Alright". He quickly responded- "That's not alright." I thought to myself- way to really f- that up. The next night he played Gun and I yelled at him to "sing it high" because he was using a capo to play it in a lower key and he acted like it was kind of dragging. And, by god, he played it high. That motor boatin sob...one of the coolest musical nights ever.
