  1. I actually liked that you didn't even SEE Cobain until the end, and I thought it was refreshing to hear music other than Nirvana....that ground has already been covered. I should have included a disclaimer that a) I am from Seattle, so I loved the imagery and that 2. I MAY have been slightly...ahem- altered. I also don't really consider myself a die-hard Cobain fan...was I out of my mind? Did anyone else like it?

  2. I just finished watching Kurt Cobain: About a Son....I have never seen anything like it. It isn't like a cheesy biopic or the like- it's very different. Cobain himself narrates. Here is the synopsis from Netflix:

"In a series of evocative interviews with rock icon Kurt Cobain, journalist Michael Azerrad captures the late artist's inner thoughts and personal memories about life, music, success and failure. Director A.J. Schnack assembled intimate conversations into a poignant portrait of a creative genius and young man in pain. This emotional blend of imagery, music and voice about the infamous and elusive artist is a 2007 Independent Spirit Award nominee."

I urge you all to watch...it's fantastic.
