Actually saw him at a solo show in NYC earlier this summer and actually got to talk to him after the show. He said he was going to Japan to do a film project that would "take a while."

also, solo spiders is pretty easy, there's a cool riff and then it's just D and some variation of D that i do not know the name of, but you can search for the tab in the archives.
