  1. I think its hands sown the best album of the year. It's great melodies with even better lyrics and the added sounds put it over the top. Even though I love this one I still think the Young Liars EP is the best thing i've heard from them.

  3. Stephen Jackson never had problems in San Antonio...EVER!!! The spurs look bad this year compared to recent years, we're too old and Dallas has caught up. Needless to say this year I think Phoenix or Chicago will win the championship. This Bulls team reminds me of Detroit back in '04.

  4. No love for TV on the Radio? Albums get better and better - and a great, great show at the Metro last Monday night...

Return To Cookie Mountian is probably the best album this year. I saw them open up for NIN in June and they were stellar. The Young Liars EP is one of the best recordings i've heard, Staring At The Sun is such a beautiful song.

  5. the altered statesman lead singer was a total douche. he seemed like he was presented some sort of hardass personality, but he is definitely not a hardass at all. he just came off as sort of jerk with no personality. in addition, they played some boring ass music that just about put me to sleep. i just sat patiently through it, but some people were chanting wilco and just about everyone in the crowd cheered when they announced their last song.

He reminded me of Lumburg from Office Space.

  6. This show was the best concert i've seen. I loved Jeff's rant on the guy with his back turned especially the Stray Cats line. I was a little upset to see more Austinians than San Antonians at the show, but I guess Wilco has to learn where their real audience is coming from.
