  1. Myself not being so much a "promoter" persay but more of a fan in attempts of trying to put on a great show in an area that lacks such great bands like Wilco playing in the area often. I just thought I would ask personal advice from fellow fans from the board of what seemse feasible. Pretty much i only stated the figure of the booking rate because it was asked and to put the show in perspective of how many people would need to attend in order to breakeven and not lose money on the show. Sorry if it offended anyone! It is public information for anyone to find http://www.concertideas.com/#/searc
  2. I too was at the Roger McGuinn show several years ago at the Clay Center in Charleston and the Morgantown Wilco show at the Mountainlair. Both shows didn't have the large crowds which I would have hoped for, which kind of makes me nervous to go forward with the show. Considering the costs when you add up expenses to book both Tweedy & McGuinn, rental of the venue, insurance, advertising, etc.; might be a hard one to even breakeven on.
  3. I think it would be a great show!...Tweedy and McGuinn haven't shared the stage in quite some time...
  4. Hi, I just had a question for everyone. I was considering booking Jeff Tweedy for a solo show with Roger McGuinn opening in Charleston, WV. Both parties have expressed interest in doing the show together. Though myself being the promoter of the show was curious of how much interest there is in Wilco/Tweedy and McGuinn/Byrds within the WV area? West Virginia is often overlooked when Wilco goes on tours that is why I am worried if there would be enough interest to fill up an auditorium for the Tweedy/McGuinn show. So if you could please let me know who here would be interested in such an event i
