From YHF for example; one, some or all of the guitars in Kamera, Radio Cure, I'm The Man Who Loves You or Pot Kettle Black could be in open D and Poor Places Open C.pot kettle black is in DADF#AD
but iattbyh, war on war, jesus etc, ashes, heavy metal drummer, and reservations are definitely in standard.
err yeah... like I said!

Can't say I'm overly familiar with either of the tunings mentioned above - especially in relation to Wilco songs - but there are certainly plenty of Wilco tracks where, Jeff primarily, uses some form of open tuning. From YHF for example; one, some or all of the guitars in Kamera, Radio Cure, I'm The Man Who Loves You or Pot Kettle Black could be in open D (or variations there of - Dropped D or Double Dropped D - hard to tell exactly?) and Poor Places Open C. If the tabs are in standard tuning then that is probably because it's the simplest way and anybody interested can then re tune and experiment using the chords given.
Songs Like Not For The Season, Theologians, Sunken Treasure, I'm A Wheel etc, also show Jeff's achingly good use of Dropped D and Open D tuning

Here Comes The Sun Again
© Kingdoms and (F) queens they all (G) bow down to © you
© Ranches (C/B) and (Am) ranch hands are (F) bowing © too
And © I

I play it capoed on 2 but obviously if you want to be play it straight, in D, then you can do.
(Capo 2nd fret)
I had © nothing to say (F) on Christmas © day
When (C/B) you (Am) threw all your (G) clothes in the © snow
When you burnt your hair, (F) knocked over © chairs
I (C/B) just (Am) tried to stay (G) out of your © way
But © when you fell asleep (F) with blood on your © teeth
I (C/B) got (Am) in my (F) car and drove a © way
© Listen to me, Butter (F) fly
There's (F) only so much © wine
You (C/B) can (Am) drink in one (F) life
And it will (F) never be e C) nough
To (C/B) save you (Am) from the (F) bottom of your © glass.
And so on for...
Where the state highway starts I stopped my car
I got out and stared up at the stars
As meteors died and shot cross the sky
I thought about your sad, shining eyes
I came back for my clothes when the sun finally rose
But you were still passed out on the floor
Hope that's of some use to somebody. Great song.

huh?
I take it by the 'huh' response you'd appreciate a basic bare bones version of how you might play it, which would be a little something like this.
(D) Hope it be my mind don't slip
(A) Sailing on a sinking ship
(G) Into the sunset and (D) back
(D) Dark night on a long highway
(A) Little lights in the houses say
(G) Somebody's staying up (D) late
(G) I'll be (A) true to you, oh (D) yeah you know I (G) will
(G) I'll be (A) true to you, for (D) ever or un (G) til
I go (D) home
(D) God it's great to be alive
(A) Takes the skin right off my hide
To (G) think I'll have to give it all up some (D) day
And (D) if I ever treated you mean
You (A) know that it was only because
I'm (G) sorry I couldn't have you for my (D) own
And so on.... hope that helps in some way?
As already said above, the whole song is based around (D) (A) and (G) and as M Ward has an understandable love of open D I'm sure that's what he plays it in and the chords above are correct but this way's a touch simpler.

With it being the arrangements for piano, guitar and voice I would think it would almost definately contain the full tablature - it's only usually the quickly thrown together books that contain just chord boxes?
