Yeah he sort of snubbed the article.. maybe he was feeling loud and screamy last night. I was hoping for a quiet show full of singer-songwriter ballads, but apparently everyone else just wanted to see Wilco play. I hope everyone is polite and calm for the Austin shows..

I'm from San Antonio originally and there really aren't any good venues (that i've heard of/can think of) for someone like Jeff or Joanna Newsom to play. I can't speak for Houston. It seems Marfa is a sort of trendy place to play at as well. What is strange is that Jeff is going from Dallas to Marfa to Austin. I suppose it doesn't matter to him.. he's not driving.

Where was he? I was slightly stage right of center.. we were there ridiculously early expecting people from Dallas to wait forever like they do in Austin. Anyone else pick up the Minus 5 Ep? I hadn't seen it for sale anywhere before--good deal.
