Okay ya'll are crazy to compare these 2 albums! I think it is crazy to compare any 2 wilco albums as they all are different and that has been and I hope always will be the Wilco method of operation! That is why I love Wilco, none of their albums are the same. You can not explain them with one album. Now I think WTA they try and do just that, but that is okay with me! Good, or okay Wilco is better tahn 95% of the music out there! And I hope they become huge because i would like to see them in a huge arena with lights and lasers!! It worked for Radiohead. After Radiohead's first two albums they were left for dead. Now they play stadiums and everybody loves them. I'm sure if Wilco were to play stadiums you all would shit a brick!!! Guess what, if you love a band then you want them to be "bigger than Jesus, bigger than wrestling, bigger than the beatles, bigger than breast implants, gonna be the best thang to hit these little kids, bigger than guns, bigger than cigarettes!

This nails where my heart is at on this one. Also I think most Eels albums can be loosely categorized into loud-eels / quiet-eels, but I find this one synthesizes the parts I like of each of those sides quite nicely.

For me, W(TA) is like that person you hate at first but end up going ga-ga over. I was really disappointed after the first several listens, but now it's the only thing I've listened to for the past few days. And when I'm not listening to it, the songs are running through my head and I think, "Why am I not listening to that?!?"

I hate to break it to you but on other music forums this album is widely considered boring.

I have only listened twice and I like it a lot! I have a feeling on repeat listens on maximum volume it will get even better.

Also on a side note, there are no bad Wilco albums they are all great, I may like some better than others but any one of them make me smile!!!!!!!!!!!!
