  1. I just can't bring myself to spend money on belgians. I understand that they are considerably more handcrafted than US beers, but our stuff tends to be a lot fresher and cheaper. However, it is hard to find good US made german styles. However, the Germans, as we know, are way industrialized in their brewing. They are several good Germans in the states that are affordable: Ayinger, Hoffbrau, Erdinger, Paulaner are all respectable. As for style, I go for dunkels (dark wheat) and marzens (oktoberfest).   2. Very good show. I agree, the hat was cool, but the Hank Jr. look at ACL was pretty damn cool as well. Here are some pics of both. My pals got some pics after Columbia w/ Jeff and the boys.
  3. We raise grass fed beef. 2-3 years is plenty of time if you have good genetics. Yes, that corn and animal diet is nasty. The omega 3-6 balance with grass fed beef is parallel to natural fish vs. farm fish. Again, nasty. Watched a program about fish farming in S. America and it makes you mad and sick.
