  1. I must have been right behind you, Folkgirl, and you (and bbop) pretty much nailed the review of the show! It was fantastic, and Jeff looked to be enjoying himself. I saw that big dude yell at the D-bag too. The D-bag moved back and stood (swayed) by me after that and had to sit down since he was so 'faced! There was a nice write up (on the front page!) of the Wilco show in the Duluth News Tribune this morning. http://www.duluthnewstribune.com/event/article/id/235845/ Duluth was Wilco show #9 for me...on my way to Rochester too to make it an even 10!
  2. A fun show, first time seeing Jeff solo for me. The crowd was a little obnoxious, but then again they usually are. A few loud WOOOOs and YEAAAHs during quiet parts, etc. But pretty well behaved during the 2-song unamplified set to cap off the show. The extended banter with the crowd was a bonus. Jeff is truly a funny guy. I liked Jeff's comment about New Madrid. Something like "I think I played this long ago in a muddy field not far from here opening for the Gear Daddies. But I might have been dreaming."
  3. Thanks for getting them in order, Solace. Too many brews at the Kitty Kat Club before the show. The "OK" hand gesture was a classic! "What is that? A gang symbol?"
  4. Here are the songs they played at the Northrop (don't remember most of the order): Sunken Treasure (first) You Are My Face (second) Too Far Apart Outtasite (Outta Mind) Forget the Flowers (encore) Red Eyed and Blue (encore) I Got You A Shot In The Arm IATTBYH War On War Jesus Etc. Heavy Metal Drummer ITMWLY Pot Kettle Black Spiders (Kidsmoke) (encore, last song) Hummingbird Handshake Drugs Impossible Germany Sky Blue Sky Side With The Seeds Hate It Here Walken California Stars (w/ Gary Louris of the Jayhawks on lead guitar, encore) Only 1 encore, but a long one.
