  1. I understand. But you can pretty much color me shocked when this was seen by so many people that had never been to my blog before. Of course, I hope that new people discover my blog and like it... but I was really posting this for my friends to see. Even my friends that were at the concert with me and a part of this hadn't seen it because we didn't all stand around afterwards and do a reading of all of our messages in order. But even so, I have had some people tell me that they thought it was funny... so maybe it is? I think so.
  2. I dunno... Zooey seems pretty gung ho about it and has already stated that she's begun writing new songs already for Volume 2. But what you said doesn't change the fact that it still wasn't a Freakwater show. It was in fact a She & Him show and marketed as such.
  3. The most salacious news story of the century!
  4. Nope, never seen Wilco... though I would love to. I bet they are fun to text through.
  5. More about my impression of Freakwater... As I said in my post, I think they are very talented musicians. I loved the type of music they played and I definitely agree that they would probably be more suitable as an opener for M. Ward than for She & Him (although She & Him have several very country-ish tracks). But it was their voices that was so off-putting. Not as much the blonde one (don't know their names, sorry)... she sounded a bit like Emmylou (although almost a bit too much... it seemed like maybe she was trying too hard to sound like her). If she had been the only one singing
  6. Thanks for your post! Yes, me and Zooey are an item... but don't ask her about it because she wants to seperate herself from all the controversy that my blog and I tend to produce. Oh and it's not really that I love Starbucks... it's just that I work there. I do like Starbucks... but I've written alot about them recently because I just started working there. It's a good company to work for. They do alot for their employees.
  7. Yeah, that's why I haven't felt too insulted yet... because I'm still not sure what that is...? That's Stillwater.
  8. Nope, still here. I've just been busy texting my friends whilst reading what y'all have to say. And frankly, I can't wait to blog about it (via text messages, of course).
  9. Just for the record... I didn't go to a Freakwater show. I wasn't even aware She & Him had an opening act (it wasn't displayed on their website) until I arrived at the venue.
  10. Yes, I'm typing all this on my phone!! (No, I'm in a lab in between classes, actually).
  11. Good, I'm glad to inspire something in someone.
  12. You should be mad if both: 1) You think everyone should like Freakwater and 2) You hate the sight of a group of people in their early to late 20s occasionally texting each other in a non-distracting manner in the back of a rowdy concert over the course of an hour.
  13. Be mad all you want. Frankly, it doesn't make much of a difference to me.
  14. Hi everyone. I am the owner of the blog in question and I was wondering why I was receiving some extra hits recently. It's nice to see that someone besides a couple of my friends have found their way to my blog. I understand everyone's sentiments completely. I am not one to text during concerts usually, and definitely not in movies (I am a total film snob and will call out someone who is distractingly texting during a movie). This all started in good fun and then spiraled into this. Over the course of over an hour, that isn't that many text messages between the 6 of us and I would think th
