  1. and its pretty funny that you feel "entitled" to better tickets

I just DO NOT feel entitled to better seats, but I paid for them. When I bought them (and I bought them paying a higher price (72€, 100$) than the most expensive ticket for the standard sale), they were being advertised as first and second rows seat stalls. Then I've been fortunate enough and received last rows in stalls, but I know of people who has received seats in balcony and last rows in the entire theater...

..and sorry for my english, it's a "work in progress" :lol , sometimes it's hard to express yourself without knowing the subtilities of a non-native language :(

  2. I got 11th row seats instead of first row for Madrid (as advertised in the presale web).. But I should not complaint, as another guy who also bought tickets in the wilco presale got last rows in first floor...

I know for sure this is not what any fan would expect when speaking of "wilco fan tickets presale"

  3. I have received an email from the Madrid Wilco show organization concerning the withdrawal of tickets on box office.

There's a line that really worries me:

Igualmente os indicamos que los asientos adquiridos en las filas 1 del recinto se han reubicado a otras filas en el mismo con el fin de ofrecerles mejores calidades, ya que estas filas N
  4. oh, i burned it to cd and listened to it through my stereo. i don't listen to music through headphones, it doesn't give proper stereo imaging, because the sound is isolated to each ear. if an album only sounds good on headphones then it's been mixed badly.

I'll listen it as soon as soon as I get home, with my little reference system (Marantz pm6002 + Wharfedale 9.1). It really resolves any production details the albums have

  5. they need Jim O'Rourke to if they're gonna continue doing this.

I'm on my iPhone headphones, so I can't really judge by now. But yes, it seems it doesn't have that warm imperfect and beautiful sound SBS had. It's strange as Wilco is one of those bands that really worry (or worried) about those details..

  6. i was going to ask that too actually. i just think the production is shockingly bad. the drums sound shit, can't hear any bass, and tweedy clearly played acoustic guitar through those bastard pick-ups he uses on stage (on stage i can understand why, although not totally, however doing so on album is a terrible choice), and the piano sounds like a keyboard (probably because it is - as recording real piano is a real skill, and clearly whoever produced this didn't want the hassle of making things sound good).

I think the album is self-produced.. isn't it?

Above is a link to a Wilco thread in a Stones site. Half way down is a train with a Wilco advertisement on the side of it. It looks like the ad is for the show in TENERIFE, ESP. I'm curious to know if Wilco are all over the trains in Spain?

I haven't seen any advertisement for the Wilco concert in Madrid. But the show has been sold out for several weeks. Wilco is a very loved band here in Spain :worship

Last tour show in Madrid was the best rock show I've ever seen, so I'm really looking forward to seeing this tour. I hope they play some new songs, but I know that won't happen unless they stream/leak the album next days

  8. I emailed Sandbag asking about the tickets and this is their reply:
