  1. Already been posted, but wanted to just let everyone know that there is a podcast available on iTunes which provides a very hardy retrospective of Wilco from formation through to present day. The three guys on the podcast are all HUGE Wilco fans -- one of which even appears in the documentary IATTBYH (in a front row crowd scene, but still...). I love Wilco and am always happy to see them get the attention they deserve. Although I knew many of the stories of the podcast I still appreciated hearing them told again by true Wilco fans. As a Wilco fan, I enjoyed the walk down memory lane and l
  2. Been a member on here for awhile but not around much anymore. Saw my first Wilco shows when A Ghost Is Born came out. I think I have seen Wilco at least 5 times but it has been awhile. I attended Wilco's show in Knoxville last night and thought it was superb. I heard a lot of songs that I had never heard live and hadn't appreciated until I heard them live. Also, was nice to hear the songs from Star Wars and Schmilco live. I've watched a lot of their more recent shows on youtube, etc. over the past year. It being a festival format with pretty much general admission for anyone with a fe
  3. Searched and didn't see this discussed in detail anywhere, so I'll ask here: Currently, Wilco is listed as playing each day of the Big Ears Festival in Knoxville, TN, in March. I'm guessing that they will only play one day or night there. Anyone have any solid information concerning Wilco at this festival? Also, does anyone know how ticketing will work for the Wilco show? Right now, the festival is selling Festival/Weekend passes with day passes on sale soon. I guess my question is will tickets be sold only for the Wilco show? If not, what is the pecking order to get into the Wilco
  4. Maybe instead of just showing back up like Terry Funk, you should first don a wrestling mask a la Dusty Rhodes and sneak back in as The Midnight Rider.
  5. Luckily for the ticket poachers out there, I managed to score 3 seats in Row F this morning for the Knoxville show. All is right with the world again.
  6. Looks like the douche bags were up early enough to scarf up Knoxville pre-sale tickets so that they could sell them on e b a y for 400 clams in one auction and 660 clams in another. PUKE. I was totally shut out of Nashville tickets last time around. If I get shut out Friday, I'll be fit to be tied. TICKET POACHERS: STAY AWAY FROM KNOXVILLE TICKETS ON FRIDAY MORNING! And, to those that have seen Wilco a hundred times: WILCO does not NEED you to be at every possible show. Let the rest of us have a crack at tickets occasionally. (There, that should do it.)
