What is it about Cds that make them better?

I would check out the May 16th, 2008 recording of the show in St. Louis at the Pageant... I was at this show, and they played it awesomely. I actually just started listening to it, thanks for reminding me! It's up at bt.etree

Nonesuch described the mp3s as "audiophile quality" What does that mean?

I am not very knowledgeable on this sort of thing, but I was wondering how the 320 kbps mp3s of W(TA) fare in the world of sound quality.... is the actual cd better or worse in quality?

Yeah... I guess I know where I am ordering in the future.. I just did nonesuch because it was the first available... overzealous I guess

I have no idea if I would be able to sell my copy or not.. also, I can't cancel the order because the mp3 download was already sent to me.

I ordered mine on MAY 13th...STILL no email..nothing\ AND I just called again, told the lady that it was complete bullshit that they were shipping in order of pre order reception.. I ordered the fucking DAY that it was made available. All she could say was "it is still at the warehouse waiting to be shipped." I'm sorry, this has just been so frustrating, and infuriating now that I see that those who ordered after me (more than a month after in some cases) got theirs first. Fucking bullshit, and I fucking hate this company. They should never be ordered from.

But I guess that's where the problem lies.. the record company is what has to ship to all of the stores, businesses, etc.

I'm sorry, I misspoke.. I meant it would ARRIVE on release day, which only makes it worse hahaha

They really do suck.. they are the ones who said it would be shipped on release date.. I hardly think that calling the day before to ask if the product has been shipped is unreasonable

Bc they suck at customer service... I called and they said it was "being processed" and the lady was not helpful at all

digital download is good enough for me until I get the vinyl.. I mean it extends the positive feeling of looking forward to something. Besides, aren't the mp3s very high quality?

Good plan... it sucks, but I know i'll get it sometime.. My single came 6 days after the release date, so I am kinda bummed bc its probable that this will be the case as well. Hopefully, the fact that I haven't been emailed doesn't mean it has not been shipped.
