  2. Comerica was rocking tonight i don't think i have ever seen it like that. this idiot next to me was talking crap the wole game. saying that the tigers need to send down monroe. he was saying that monroe was useless. then two innings later hes calling some of his friends saying "did you see my boy monroe hit that grand slam."

  3. So, who's the 38 year-old toolbox waving a red shirt around behind home plate while Garland is pitching? It certainly doesn't seem to be working, unless the guy's intention was to look like an assbag.

i agree what the hell is that guys deal?

  4. got balcony seats for Akron this morning. I had great orchestra seats on my first try and ended up losing them because tickbastard kept logging me out when I got to the submit order page.. I HATE that website.

tickets sold out in 20 minutes.....I hope everyone who wants to go got in.

I'm psyched. this will be my first time seeing Tom, and he's at the top of my "people to see before they die" list. God knows when he's going to tour again......

had the same problem for detroit. had great 11th row seats and the order screwed up. ended up with sixth row balcony, but at least i get to go to the show. :cheers :dancing

  5. can not wait this should be great. also i thought i had read earlier this year that they were supposed to put out an early recordings volume three that had the at dawn demos. anyone else remember this and is thi scoming out at some time?

  6. the gorge is absolutly amazing. went last year to sasquatch and had a blast. unfortunatly it was record temps in seattle and it was hot as hell.

bonnaroo is always hot as hell four days (usually some bands play thursday night check it out after you set up camp) in the middle of a Tennessee field. the crowd is huge and seems to get bigger every year. its a great time if you can stand porta johns, no showers and intense heat for four days. the music is always a blast and you will meet some interesting people.

  7. i've always been a big lips fan... going waaaaaay back to the late-mid 80's, and i gotta say i'm more than just a little disappointed right now.

this is the same show they've been putting on for what? 3 years now? with the animals and the balloons and the confetti and the what-have-you. don't get me wrong... that was great... fantastic... wonderful... but it's time for them to do something different. play longer shows, dive into the back catalog more (kim's watermelon gun & turn it on would be 2 great additions)... go darker with the lighting.

i'd love to see them go out sans the big happy birthday party and just concentrate on ripping skulls open instead of playing with balloons for 45 minutes then leaving the stage.

    just my 2 centavos.

couldn't agree more. it sucks that you pretty much know what they are going to play and when. would really like to see them dip into the back catalog.

  8. had a great time at this festival. very cool and not to crowded. reminded we of the first bonnaroo where you could actually move around. clap your hands say yeah were great can not wait to see them in two weeks in ann arbor. left there set early though to get a spot for wilco and am glad i did. i was able to get a spot right on the guard rail infront of john. enjoyed the set a lot. the drive by truckers show at the culture room was great but a little overcrowded. saw the secret machines in miami on saturday night at a place called studio a. i have to say this was the most ridiculous club i have ever been in. inside the restroom is someone who washes your hands. drinks were more expensive then the festival at $9. behind the bar was a giant glass cube in which a girl did ballet inside. the secret machines were great though only about fifty people at the show.
