I tried it just to see if it would work and it did for me. But it looks like the site's getting hammered right now, was very slow.

As I mentioned in one of my prior posts, they couldn't do the exchange for me either, but he was more than willing to refund mine and waited while I was on the phone with him to make sure I could buy the seats I wanted before he cancelled the first ones. If I were you I would just try calling back and getting someone different that knows what he's talking about.

Ther was no refund fee for me with the Atlanta show, but that may be venue specific. You could always call and ask. edit--the number is 800-653-8000

Thanks. I just did this and got a refund on my pit tickets in Atlanta and bought section 101 row J (4th row of stage left). For some reason they said they couldn't exchange them because they were "internet only" but the dude stayed on the line with me to make sure I could get the new seats before I lost my pit tickets.

I think you're correct. I believe there's a small pit area in front of the reserved seats that is GA. I also got "Row 5" in the pit. btw--Hi, I'm Kyle...this is my first post here.
