Did they give you an explanation?
I work for Ticketmaster so I can explain. I also have tickets for both shows and my orders were cancelled as well.
This venue tries to identify scalpers by looking at orders from out of state and cancelling the tickets. That's what they did here. Fortunately my office works with the Bijou Theatre so I talked to our rep who works with them to get the story and get everything sorted out.

I am no longer grumpy. I ended up with 3rd row for Birmingham because of crazy luck, and 4th row pit for Atlanta by magical circumstances. The staff at the Fox is super awesome. Holy cow!
I've had good luck going to the Fox box office instead of buying online but I figured they couldn't help today since it was just a presale. Did you call them or go by the box office?

I'll be in Chicago for the other three shows. Looking for lower level as close as possible. PM me, willing to meet near the venue anytime next week starting Wednesday
-
Ended up getting a single on the aisle on the main floor, low rows for Wednesday and Thursday.
Saturday it put me in one of the "boxes" in the first row of the balcony. Can't complain
-
some singles available but it looks like i might have to give up on finding adjacent seats...
I'm just looking for a single for every show and I'm getting nothing

This is tempting. Might want to come down from Canada for this. Stupid question but how likely would flight disruption due to snow storms be in late Feb?
I've flown in to Midway mid-February before and it was fine. They're prepared even with snow on the ground.

Oh my God. The talkers.......

That dreadful setup in Sandpoint, ID...
I did the same MT/ID trip last summer and the Sandpoint show was by far my least favorite because of the setup. Loved seeing that little town but ugh, yeah those people need to get out of their folding chairs and have some fun

Brainiac - February 1997 - The basement of a music building at Georgia Tech. Tim Taylor died three months later.
Catherine Wheel - July 2000 - They played over 2 and a half hours and I was mesmerized the whole time.
The Replacements - Shaky Knees Festival - May 2014 - Got on the rail between Tommy & Paul, epic rain storm about 30 minutes before they went on stage
Failure/Hum/Torche - Jacksonville - October 2015 - Three of my favorite bands on the same bill in front of about 300 people. First Failure show with Troy in 19 years.
Converge/Cave In/Dillinger Escape Plan - January 1999 - There were less than 100 people there because it was a new venue and the roads were icy. DEP still with Dimitri.
Wilco - Knoxville - September 2014 - First Wilco show, 2nd row stage center. Not a very big fan at the time but the show converted me. The Lonely 1 to end 1st encore and there's a Roadcase
Deftones/Far/Will Haven - Cotton Club - November 1997 - Three more bands I love, Around the Fur had just come out, Water & Solutions wasn't out but Far was playing a couple songs off it
Nirvana - The Omni - November 1993 - First show I went to without a parent, first time I saw a real "alternative" show, a big deal when you're only 14 years old
Hatebreed/Converge/Norma Jean - April 2002 - Hatebreed was good, Converge were amazing (Jane Doe touring cycle) but seeing the original lineup of Norma Jean 3 months before they blew up was such a treat
Robert Plant & Jimmy Page - February 1995 - Unledded Tour - Had great seats, 15 years old and loved every minute of it. Last time those two ever played Achilles Last Stand together

One time at a show at The Point someone came up behind my brother during the band's first song and just ripped his T-shirt off him. I have no idea why but it turned out hilarious since he was standing there the whole show without a shirt on.

A couple of points for myself:
- This was my 8th show but the first in the city I live. I've been to the Tabernacle dozens of times over the years and thought it was a great venue for the band.
- The omission of an electric encore and the dive straight into the hootenanny was a little surprising. Some of my favorite memories over the last year and a half have been some of the crazy stuff they'll pull out during that electric encore (The Lonely 1, Just a Kid, Dark Neon to mention a few)
- I had a seat in the front row of the first level and it was the first time I haven't been down front (with the exception of Sandpoint, no thanks to their ridiculous festival setup). While I was glad to have a seat after a long day at work it did kind of take away from being with the hardcores down front.
I'll be in the exact same seat tonight as I was last night, the weather will be a little warmer today for those of you who will be waiting in line.

I have GA ticket I'm trying to get rid of. Hard ticket, I will meet you outside the venue before the show. $45. Reply here or message me
-
Tickets have been secured for both nights... thanks all and hope to see you in Atlanta.
See you on Wednesday!
-
I have an extra (actually two) for Night 1 if you'd like it. Hard ticket so I can meet you outside the venue or before.
-
Actually, they played consecutive nights at Stubb's in Austin to close out 2015's touring calendar. And I'm afraid they played SW both nights there. You can't really blame them since that's what they're promoting and the vast majority of people at any given show haven't already seen multiple gigs like we have...
That's right, sorry, guess I skimmed through the setlists a little too quick...
And from what I'm seeing, a lot of people in Atlanta aren't going to both shows. Second night is sold out but there isn't much demand on the secondary market for the first night.

Thanks for the review.
I think we'll get a better read for the tour after Boston. Those are the first two back-to-back same venue shows they will play since doing Star Wars in its entirety.
I'm hoping they don't play it completely both nights as I'm going to both Atlanta shows (and I already saw it three times in three nights this past summer)

I'm very much looking forward to the tabernacle shows. Ended up grabbing another pair of tickets for my sister and a friend today, so it should be great. My sister hasn't seen wilco since 2011.
Getting tickets on livenation this morning was no problem for GA in Atlanta- a nice change from the chaos last year when Ryman tickets went on sale.
Can y'all give me a good description of how to get to stage from the entrance of the Tabernacle? It's been a leg time since I've been there and can't remember anything but scary stairs. Already planning rail riding. How early do folks line up at the tabernacle?
Walk in to the Tabernacle but don't go straight ahead. Those stairs will take you downstairs. Go up the stairs to the left or right to the next level and you'll see the main entrance. I'm sure there will be some people there maybe between 4-5 pm. Only show I've seen there that had people waiting up earlier than that was Morrissey because, well, his fans are truly nuts.
I ended up getting a pair of GA for each show but decided to buy a single seat yesterday for each show. Front row, on the aisle in the lower balcony. So if I just end up going by myself I'll probably put those two GA up for grabs.

Got GA floor both nights for Atlanta! Use the /events link everyone!

Weezer: everything after Pinkerton.
Also, Braid did not need to reunite. 'No Coast' should be redacted.
Agree 100% on Weezer. Just absolute garbage for the last 20 years.
Disagree on Braid. I think No Coast is great and the songs come off really well live. Saw them a couple of weeks ago for the first time in 17 years and they were just as good.

Sunny Day Real Estate - The Rising Tide
Once on FB I asked "Is it possible to hate an album by your all-time favorite band?"
A friend responded with the best possible answer: "Yes, because I hate St. Anger"

A little disappointed that we didn't get the acoustic encore again, I thought this crowd would have been much more receptive and appreciative of it than Sandpoint.
A quirky little venue at the bottom of a ski slope but it worked well. Ketchum was a cool little town with a couple good dive bars.
I enjoyed Vetiver talking about driving down the mountain, if anyone driving from Missoula to Ketchum followed the same route they'd know to what in referring. Thought I was going to plunge off the side of a cliff a few times.
All in all that was my third show in three days and seventh in five different states since this 20th anniversary tour started. I'll be interested to see how much longer this touring cycle goes now that the new album is out but every show (even Sandpoint in its own weird way) has been phenomenal.

Terrible setup for a show unless you were going to do an all-acoustic set like at Solid Sound. I didn't arrive in town until about 3 pm after the drive from Missoula so getting a "number" was out of the question.
I tried to find a place to stand and watch. The "dancing areas" provided a great view of the tent and equipment so that was out of the question. I eventually ended up in the middle towards the back near the handicap area. Unfortunately this was like every other spot there, full of incessant talkers.
At least being near the front makes it loud enough to drown out most of the chatter but being towards the back didn't help. Finally about halfway through the set things loosened up and some folks started to stand in the aisle. I moved up and got pretty close for the last 10 songs or so.
Not surprised at the lack of an acoustic encore, that was probably the right way to end the show. All in all, a little disappointing but I think the venue had everything to do with that. Hopefully tonight will be a little better.
When will Wilco US tour dates be announced?

It wasn't Ticketmaster. It was the venue.
