  1. I'm gonna see him in NYC instead now that he announced new dates today. Thanks!

Entire venue is GA. Ticket face value of course - $44 (that includes fees and a donation to a foodbank)

    Artist Presale $35.00
    Ticket Fee $8.29
Donation for MANNA FOODBANK : $1.00
    Total: $44.29
  2. Selling my ticket for Sunday's concert at Murmmr. Face value, $53.56. The seat is in Floor Left, Row K, Seat 7. There is no row directly in front of Row K so will have a better view. We can use Venmo, Paypal or Zelle. I will send PDF to you.

If you are wondering why in the world I would sell my ticket, it's because I have a cold, and I also have a ticket for Wednesday so at least I get to see him once

  3. I have one, Center Orchestra Row Q seat 105 - $90

I went Sat night and am going two other nights, I think I need a break. If you are looking for a single ticket, for Sunday, I have one

It is a mobile ticket but I cannot transfer it. I can send you a screen shot of the QR code. My ticket Sat night was same exact situation, someone emailed me a photo of a QR code in a photo and I showed it on my phone and NO problem at all getting in.

View from seat, I took it tonight when I was at the theater

I have a picture of the view, I took it tonight. I cant upload it here though.  I can send it to you if you are interested.  Let me know. Thanks

Oh it is a flat $90, that is face value, I thin not including fees, Ill eat those.

    Thanks

  5. I called ticket master and it turns t that the issue is because of the venue in Brooklyn the Kings Theater. Apparently they are counting who bought how many tickets what credit card to make sure that no single person got hold of more than 8 tickets.

This is to prevent scalpers. But what are they gonna do, demand money back? Besides 8 ticket limit per person is too high to beg with. Who goes to concerts with 7 friends? That's just such bullshit.

Thanks for replying though with your info. I'm jealous! I want to touch my ticket, see my ticket, kiss my ticket....

  6. Why is Ticketmaster delaying delivery of my tickets? Anyone else getting this message on Their order page?

The website says "Sometimes delivery delays are used to prevent tickets from being shipped or printed at home until we can confirm everyone has adhered to the event ticket limit. In other words, we want to make sure absolutely no one has ordered more tickets than their fair share!"

    I want my tickets! Grrrrrrr.

Anybody know what's up with that? Thanks

  7. My friend got me a ticket with her, and now I have this extra single orchestra seat.

Section SEC 4, Row KK, Seat 43  $72.50

(This was the Thursday additional pre-sale due to the Wednesday fiasco.  But it was through Ticketbastard so they charged fees and THEN the Kings Theater had their own obnoxious venue fee!

I can do paypal, and the ticket can be transferred to your name through Ticketmaster.

Picture is where the seat is, its the red dot. Apparently all seats in the Kings theater are pretty awesome.

  8. my first show and they say "you never forget your first" ;-)  I could not have asked for a better first experience. I had posted the thread about possibly being killed if i danced during the show and blocking others views.  well, turns out that from the start of the show, the right orchestra back had some dancers, and i was nearby so I felt safe. The woman behind me was cool with it too. I then saw some people doing some majorly bizarre dancing in the side aisle right of the stage. And so I knew Id be welcome down there. they must have been interpretative dance students. I just sway from side to side. That corner by the stage got more and more dancers, all of us a little freaky in our own way, in that "weve got some grateful dead vibe in us, even if we dont know it or never even liked the Dead" - because strangers danced together and twirled each other like they were swing dancing, and the joy and glee was infectious. Like the post above it was "Pure, distilled goodness all around."

We were all close to the stage but off to the side, not blocking the view of the front row sitters (lame people, lame).  The one bouncer was so cool, he just let us do our thing.  Then a few people decided to sort of run/dance past the stage from one aisle to the other, like scoot in front of the band. And that was the beginning of the festivities in the quite large floor space between where the front row seats were and the stage. It pays off to be one of the brave who need to dance as the post above said, the dancers ended up with the best spots in the theater and Jeff loved it!  you could tell he was super into it. He did say to the folks who had simply sat in the front row "He you missed your chance" or something like that.  The band was feeding off of us and vice versa.

The set list was very satisfying for me, as far as it being my first show. Sure there are another 20 songs Id have loved to hear, but I definitely got what I wanted. The set the next night would not have been as good for me.

The acoustic encore was magical. A group sing along. then became a group whisper-along. As Jeff sang the end of Misunderstood, the "nothing" got quieter and quieter, til we were an audience whispering the word "nothing...nothing...nothing" you could have heard a pin drop.

And then..the best moment of all - closing with 'A Shot in the Arm' a song you would never think of as delicate, but played acoustically, wow. I got chills. Someone posted a short clip on Instagram. Hope you can see it.   https://instagram.com/p/8CDWiPCK2O/

Im pretty sure that September 23rd maybe have been the best night of my (very shitty) year.  I could not have been happier.  Im so thankful I was able to be there. Man, did I need that concert like a shot in the arm.

  9. You're funny! I did look back a few times, since I snuck to the front and I did see most of the audience up, and loving the show. So yeah I think it was a win-win for everyone. Seemed like the band loved us back!

And if the sitting works for you, go for it. I'm up there in age and was wiped out after the show, but I am unable to sit during a show! Though I did fall asleep at The Cure back in 1984.

See you on the dance floor sometime!

  10. Letter to band I posted on WILCO Facebook page that sums up my amazing experience:

    https://www.facebook.com/wilcohq/posts/10153620893460421

I FOUND MY CIRCLE OF FREAKS AND WE ALL DANCED ABD THERE WERE SO MANY OF Us it was joyous. The bouncers let us all go up to stage while the front row stodgy people lost out. Jeff commended us dancers for ceasing the moment. We were an awesome crowd in Ithaca. Dancing was the rule not the exception!

I loved my audience members. They made a special show THAT much more special.

Thanks everyone on this thread. Your support really helped me find my inner dancer courage! :-)

See you on the dance floor folks! ❤️

  11. THANK YOU ALL FOR YOUR SUPPORT!!

I'm gonna dance my ass off tonight !! I can barely contain my excitement for the show and I haven't even hit the road yet for the drive to Ithaca. My first wilco show!!!!!!

I consider myself a pretty Considerate concertgoer. I dont hog space. When

I've had great seats for shows like front row I've let shorter person behind me swap seats.

As for tweedy saying something well id love it but maybe he doesn't dance at concerts!

At The Who shows last tour around uk and USA a 70 year old Roger Daltrey told the audiences to get up off their arses! In Amsterdam apparently a fight broke out I the front and the guy standing was pulled down by the seated people and his shirt was ripped!

I've often thought about this question at concerts when I apologize to people in advance for me standing, why am I saying I'm sorry? I should say that I feel bad their experience won't be what they hoped, but as humans, why must I apologize for not sublimating my desires to a stranger?

    I'm overthinking :-)

Anyway thanks again for all your stories and support. Just like they have "all ages" shows they should have "all dancing shows". I know, that's what GA is for but if the venue doesn't do GA whatcha gonna do?

Hope to dance will y'all one day at a show!! ❤️

  12. Oh how I wish you would be at the show with me. Not only would be start a movement

    we could start a revolution!

Even if I wanted to go to a GA show, there are no other concerts near me, as it is, I've got to

drive 5 hours to see the show and take of two days of work! I think I deserve a dance or two!

I will seek that balance you speak of, grasshopper.

I'll probably talk my friends aisle seat for more leg swinging room, and air drumming as well

He'll be happy cause he'll get upgraded to a much better seat. But in the end, being physically

closer to a band is less important o me than connecting to that band's music.

Sometimes at concerts even when I am in front row, I close my eyes to be transported

by the sound. Oh gosh, I'm weird, aren't I... (And yes I was ever so slightly a deadhead growing up,

    but more mod/punk rocker)

    Thanks for the advice!!!!

  13. wow. that is a bummer. and simply insane. What theater was that at? And Pearl Jam in 1995? People were sitting - in the front row even? WTF? You should have gotten your money back. There are no terms and conditions on the tickets about moving in your seat, are there? Im sorry that happened to you.

I simply cant NOT dance during Wilco. I cant even listen to them at work on my headphones without having to stand up and tap my feet along. Its seriously difficult to not dance a little and share in the movement and music and moment.

I always politely let people know behind me at every single concert I have been to that I will be standing and dancing.  I have a center orch, center section seat. I will probably be killed.  My friend has an aisle seat. Are my chances any better in an aisle?  I don't go to GA shows because of a bad experience I had once at a GA concert where i was practically crushed alive. And in this case, Wilco arent playing near NYC anywhere else but this seated theater.

Explain this if you can, how can ANYONE sit down during HANDSHAKE DRUGS? or OUTTASITE...or now, RANDOM NAME GENERATOR?

people say well, "it's an older crowd". What does THAT mean? I'm Tweedy's age and shit, if he gets to stand and move around the whole show, I want to as well!   I just saw a bunch of Who concerts over the past 2 years and every single show, the first 10-15 rows at least if not more were on their feet the whole time. Talk about an older crowd!

I am not going down without a fight.... a polite one.

oh, and hey, I only JUST saw that your profile picture is Keith Moon! guess we have the same great taste in music!

  14. going to Ithaca tmrw. its a seated show. Now, I'm no crazy dancer with flailing arms but I dont understand

how anyone can sit during any concert!   I plan on standing and moving during the show. Will people yell at me,

throw stuff at me and make me feel guilty?

I'm scared! No Kidding.  I've seen some nasty stuff go down at non-Wilco concerts between sitters and standers.

I just want us ALL to have a good time. :-)
