Got word back from Tricia at the venue that the area in front of the stage is GA this year (and she confirmed that it is a change from last year).

All set to go to Sound Summit, but just saw that sponsors get Preferred Seating tickets & am now assuming that's the only way to get to the seats directly in front of the stage. Looking at video from 2015, they never filled up. I'm seeking more information from the organizers, but thought someone here might already have an extra ticket or can help explain if stage front is really prohibited for regular GA tickets. Thanks!
