  1. Going to the Metro show on Monday but was wondering if anyone has a +1 for the XRT pop up show starting at 4. Tried both days, listened to a real radio, and still struck out. I’ll be at Metro early Monday anyways so why not try to see two Wilco sets in the same day! I’ll buy you a beer if that entices the offer! Let me know and thanks so much in advance!!

  2. Not sure if you guys feel the same way, but I thought last night's show was the best out of the three so far! The row behind me had their talkers, but it wasn't as annoying as the previous nights. Two rows ahead of me, some guy literally passed out. Probably drank too much or maybe just can't handle three nights of Winterlude, but he literally was asleep for more than half of the show. The band sounded super locked in and I just overall had a really great night! Can't wait to see what's in store for the final one tonight!

  3. Great meeting you and sitting next to you yesterday, man! Sorry if I seemed kind of out of it, the three shows on top of not getting much sleep over the past few nights will do that. I promise the next time our paths cross, I'll be more upbeat! I definitely agree with you in a lot of what you've brought up here. Nothing compares to seeing this band in a smaller setting. Those Riv and smaller residency shows (even though we froze waiting outside for doors) were so much better than these last two at the Chicago Theatre. Not that they haven't been great, the band still brings it every night and it's an amazing time, but something's missing. Hopefully they'll see that and the next Winterlude will be in a smaller setting? The constant yapping by people also seems to be at an all time high these past two shows. I've tried giving my stares to people so they'll shut up, but they don't seem to be working. Can't wait to see what nights three and four have in store!

  4. Been trying since 10. Kept getting the messages that either "another fan beat me to it" or "Ticketmaster can't process my request on this device" for whatever reason? Only going for Double letter or pit seats. Really wish they didn't use a TM venue and went back to the Riviera but that's just my opinion. I guess I'll try again tomorrow in the XRT pre sale, but if it didn't work today, can't imagine tomorrow will be any better...

  5. Got section 239, row 1, seat 15 for the Friday show in yesterday's pre-sale. I've only been to one show at Soldier Field and was on the floor, so I'm not entirely sure of the sight line I'll have. Looked online and it looks pretty decent and it was in my price range so I grabbed it.

  6. I got 4 in the 4th row for Saturday night.  The Chicago Theater is beautiful and the sound is great, but I'm not a fan of seeing shows there.  Despite my age, I prefer to get to a venue early, stand and get as close as possible to the stage.

I could not agree more with this statement!

  7. This will be my first Wilco show as a Chicago resident (been a fan since I knew what music was)!

Question: Is it worth going to all three nights? Will they play enough different tunes?

Every Wilco show is an awesome time, regardless if they play different tunes or not. Went to Madison and Chicago this past summer and for the most part, it was the same setlist. Still had a blast both times! I went to two shows last Winterlude in 2014 and they were both different sets. I would imagine, they will play completely different sets each night.
