OK, get ready, its starting.
I feel like with the prices so low, HD-DVD may take it.
Hold out for the A3 on sale at Sears for $170 on Black Friday.

I'm holding out until the 8th so I can watch it in Hi Def

And, btw, thanks to all of you who took the time to answer. I still don't see anyone saying Misunderstoood or Far, Far Away. He must've heard them at a friend's or something...idk

It's a FLV video, which I believe is Flash Video. I saved it and converted it to a better format. Will make a DVD of it some day pretty soon.
How? I normally use Ook Video Ook or VideoDownloader with Firefox for FLVs, but they wouldn't work with these.

Our one splurge with some wedding money is to buy an LCD HD TV. Of course I now have to change my cable package. While I'm at it I'm also switching from my Version 1 Tivo to the HD DVR that Comcast provides. My stupid question is, is the DVR also the channel tuner or is there a separate cable box PLUS the DVR?
Right now we have a digital cable box, plus the Tivo. The Tivo doesn't allow for easy use of the On Demand features accessible through the cable box. So, I'm switching to the cable-provided DVR to make life easier. When I trade in my basic digital box for the HD box will it be the tuner/DVR or will they give me two new boxes to hook together?
It's all one box. You're going to miss your TiVo. I had a Comcast HD DVR and got so tired of it missing recordings, I finally splurged for the HD TiVo Series3. Save up, the price on the Series3s is coming down. Are you paying monthly on the TiVo or do you have a lifetime subscription?

From now on, all off island scenes will be flash forwards instead of flashbacks. Just a guess.

Well, the Chiefs had better draft some offense before Herm the Worm goes for a defense-only draft.....and they had better re-up Larry Johnson. Whoever goes to Oakland, I don't think it will make a difference. The main issue with the Raiders is Al Davis -- until he goes, I see no success for that franchise.
Last I heard, LJ was being dangled as trade-bait.

Lady Georgia, I have heard legend of Devil paying visit to your village and being the evil soul thief with the little fiddle. Is this just legend like our troll men living under bridge on path to forest?
That's gold

I'm all for it and I think Chicago is the odds on favorite over those other cities.

How many episodes are left? 3 or 4?
Seven

Absolutely awesome, best thing I've ever seen in HD.

Well, Vandy and USC both had their chances. Some good games tonight, except UNLV couldn't get anything to fall.
Edit: if the refs had any balls to call the travel on Georgetown...
How about Billy Packer saying he's not sure he saw a walk even after they showed it in zoomed-in-super-slow-mo? I've really grown to dislike him as the years go by.
-
You can see this on the show - it was on one of the episodes last fall or whenever the show was on.
No you can't. You can see him talk about maybe getting it done, but that's all.

When did Miguel Cabrera get so fat and slow? He looked gassed after a home run trot.

Netflix is way behind Amazon/Tivo on the amount of on-line content available. Plus, with Amazon/Tivo you can watch it all on your TV.
The Amazon/TiVo deal went live today. If you have TiVo and register by April 30th you get $15 dollars worth of free downloads.

They're playing The Abbey Pub this Friday, the 9th.

The original Numero Uno and Due (down the street from Uno) is not the same garbage you get at the chain restaurants. It is definitely some of the best pizza in Chicago and the country. For thin crust pizza, I recommend Pat's Pizza on Sheffield.
Pat's moved. It's now on the 2600 block of Lincoln.
For Chicago-style deep dish I like Lou Malnati's and Pequod's
