Pinewood derby time! Clayton is entering the parent/sibling race for the first time this year. Parker is hoping for "best in show" 3 years running!

Clayton started soccer on Monday! He's getting so big!

Very cool new program from the National Parks, and Parker will be in 4th grade next year! Might not make it to Yellowstone, but definitely Mammoth Cave or the Indiana Dunes.

Bloomington friends: anyone have, or know someone who has, a small garage woodworking shop with a scroll saw or band saw and would be willing to open it up to about 8 3rd grade cub scouts to work on their pinewood derby cars?

Didn't take as many pictures yesterday as I would have liked to. My phone battery was low. Four of us had a great day on the Monon Trail and Cultural Trail. 39 miles. Just a few scrapes and dings and sore muscles. Perfect weather, great company and good beer. We'll definitely do it again! .

Parker and I decided today that we're going to go to at least one game/match/meet of each of the IU varsity sports this year. Well, all but cross country and golf. Football and soccer, check!

Parker's Lemonade Stand has been canceled for this coming Saturday. He's been given the opportunity to get a free flying lesson at Monroe-County Airport. He couldn't turn that down!
