  1. Tom Petty's website posted a note that there would be a major announcement this week. I assume it's going to be a summer tour, and I for one, am excited. I have had nothing but great experiences seeing TP in concert, because A) he always has great openers (Steve Winwood, Pearl Jam) B) he has an extensive catalog and C) great stage/light show.

Does anyone else share this feeling? Or not...?

One of the times I saw "The Replacements" was when they opened for Tom. B)

I'm a bit surprised, happy & worried about these being pretty small venues. A best friend of mine loves Type O Negative and always tends to see them at Lupo's and tells me how small that room is.

Concord is so fucking sweet though. They're playing my state. :thumbup :badger

    Good Luck on tickets etc.!

In case you don't know Lupo's is now a theater venue as opposeed to a long room with a stage on one side. B)

  3. I've fallen in love wth Wilco (the album). I thought SBS was good and still do but Wta blows me away. I listened to it down by the sound (Long Island Sound) this morning with the sun coming up and it brought me to places only Wilco can. I love this album. The more I hear it the better it becomes. Very close to perfection. B)

  4. I think sections 1-4 are going to be GA and 5-12 will be reserved, so those are great front floor tickets.

In the past/80's, 90's Neil's always prompted us to crowd the stage. I've seen many (20?) Neil shows from the edge of the stage. He feeds off the crowd like no one I've ever seen. If Worcester ever goes on sale I'm going for the G.A. tickets. Without a doubt. B)

  5. Thanks folks. I thought it might be Crazy Horse this time around with it being an arena tour. Personally I'd rather see this band. For now the venue closest to me is Worcester, Ma. The DCU Center. Better (easier anyway) than trekking into NYC to see another MSG show. B)

  6. When I got to my very best friend's funeral I was there first. They were playing Johnny Mathis' kitten up a tree song when I asked if they had a cd player. No came the answer but I do have a cassett player. The whole wake was nothing but live Dead. No pun intended. I had a Dicks Picks 3 in my truck for some reason on tape and it played through out. That was the coolest thing I'd ever done and just didn't give a f**k what all the "blue haired ladies in their wheelchairs" thought. I new Billy would want Jerry there. Years later it's still talked about in funeral lore of Southeast CT.

Me I want "Tonight's The Night" played once for my close friends and family. That's it. No words no tears. Now bury my dead ass. Cause I'm gone and nothin's gonna bring me back. Not even Neil. B)
