  1. I hate to have to do this, but I'm not going to be able to make it to the festival and need to sell my tickets and cancel my hotel room. I'll sell two tix for $150 (below presale)and work with anyone who needs a nice hotel room - we have reserved the Moroccan room at the Topia Inn (http://topiainn.com/). It's definitely not cheap, but looks to be a really nice place and is particularly known for being very "green". It's located in Adams, reportedly about 10 minutes from MASSMoCA. If I don't hear from anyone in the next few days I'll just cancel the room, but would like to see someone from the board get it if anyone's interested. If the tix and room don't move soon I'll eventually post in the "How to fight loneliness" section but thought I might get a quicker response here.

    Bummed...

  2. Regarding the color of presale tickets. I had the same experience last time at the Palladium. Blue tickets got in first. I got my tickets a few days ago, however, and they seem to be run of the mill ticketmaster tickets. Too bad.

Yep, mine too. Guess I'll be getting there early.

  3. I just spoke with Frontgate too; as I was talking with them the mgr told the person on the phone that their tickets had just arrived and would be sent out right away.

BTW, for those who already have presale tickets, are they an odd color or anything? I ask because the last time they played the Palladium those of us who bought at the presale had colored tickets and they allowed us to go into the venue before everyone else...

  4. They're baaaaack... on the Wilco shows page!

A little advice: DO buy your tix through the presale. Last time they played the Palladium they allowed all those holding presale tickets to move to the front of the line. They may not do that this time, but if they do it's a really nice bonus for VCers!

  5. Buying your tickets through the pre-sale might help get a good place to stand. At Dallas this year, the staff came through the waiting line and moved all people holding tickets bought at the pre-sale to the front of the line before opening the doors. If you get a funny looking ticket (ours were a different color than everyone else's) that might mean they'll do the same at this show!
