I had close friends at the Sunday show, bought the Sunday Nugs stream, and was so mad at Nugs for only allowing a very short replay window.
If anyone has full show audio or video of either night, please PM me. Thx.
Someone uploaded this fanshot footage of them doing Revolution Blues

Nugs.net cut the feed on the 4.3 show before they came back to play Revolution Blues. Jerks.

And so begins a week of shows in Florida. It's always been kind of a fascinating state — to me, anyway — when it comes to any sort of cultural performance because you look around at other folks in the audience and think, 'Who are these people?'
Calm down, Seinfeld.

I used to have it hidden on YouTube and Photobucket but, I haven't checked on it in years. Both sites appear to have taken it down. It did indeed take place in a hospital, there's even a witch doctor and one of those monkey toys that bashes cymbals together.

Oh man, I couldn't begin to do justice to that one. But it was pretty awesome. Chris Corsano is a powerhouse drummer, while Darin wasn't even really playing bass per se, but had his instrument on his lap and would interchange various metallic bowls and such in between the strings that he used to create various textures and sounds. Jeff mostly created feedback and noise on a couple of electric guitars, including a red one I hadn't seen him play before that had buttons that he was using almost like an autoharp.
I think they were all really pleased with how it turned out, given that it was their first time all improvising together. And I hear that they might reprise it at Solid Sound...
Fingers crossed, Jim!

The comedy lineup for 2015 was so good, I didn't care about missing out on whichever bands were playing that day.

I'll be surprised (and a little disappointed) if Homme isn't part of the lineup.

I was just thinking, there are rumblings of a new Loose Fur record in the not so distant future...
I feel like that's been rumored for the last 5-6 years.

revealing his dislike for the new singer — or "pope" — of the Swedish heavy metal band Ghost whose T-shirt he was wearing,
The joke being, that Ghost has changed their lead singer three times now, Papa Emeritus, Papa Emeritus II, and Papa Emeritus III. In reality, they're all the same guy wearing variations on the makeup.

Where does the Timeline Chick fit into this whole thing, I wonder.
Do you really?

Kalamazoo was never on sale. There was a link that took me to Ticketmaster, where I was told the pre-sale starts tomorrow. Now when I check Wilco's site for this show it says that the pre-sale is sold out.

Do the comedians perform in a theatre, tent, out in the open? At past Solid Sounds, how long have the comedians' sets been? Thanks!
-
McCaughey is hanging with them on off nights? That's cool.

You love Meddle?? Okay, you are all right in my book from now on, man.
Floyd's best album.

The lineup will probably be announced the day after the Early Bird sale ends.

It was at one of the one of live Delocated Variety shows at the Hideout.

The last time I saw Kevin Dorff, he stripped to his underwear and ate a pizza on stage.
