I just got done recording a cd with my band in chicago with Tight Phantomz frontman Mike Lust. Mike helped work on Summerteeth and YHF. He's on the Burn to Shine Chicago dvd with Wilco, Shellac, Tortoise and others. We just got done recording a 13-song album which was recorded, mixed, and mastered in Chicago. The artwork is done and we're in the midst of packaging the cd. Check it out and let me know what you think. Sorry for the shameless self-promotion, but I think you guys will like it. Influences are: pavement, modest mouse, wilco, archers of loaf, neil young, pixies, guided by voices, fugazi, etc. The sound is a bit poppy than those bands but check it out.
