mars
my fairly recent discovery of some of the best music ever made (Spacemen 3-> Spiritualized) has put me on a quest to somehow hear Spiritualized's F**ked Up Inside album. Does anybody on here own it? I am dying to hear it and I don't really care to plop down $70 to hear it. (almost did this for Sebadoh's III, so glad I didn't; reissues are goooode). If you have a copy I would like to hear your comments. Please post or PM me.thanks Have no Doubt Spacemen 3 and Spiritualized are my new rock and roll masters
Buford T. Justice
I downloaded this one off of Soulseek a while back and wasn't too terribly fond of it, ultimately deleting it from my hard drive. I think it's relatively widely circulated and, with a little bit of looking, you can probably find it somewhere to download. Don't recall the era of the recording -- it's a live recording, though. If you're looking for a great Spiritualized live album, check out the Live at Royal Albert Hall.
street spirit
Royal Albert Hall just might be the best Spiritualized release. I adore Ladies and Gentlemen, but the songs really take off on the live record.
the_ashtray_says
i have a copy of it at home, can probably get it to you one way or another. send me an PM if you stilll need it. it's got some good stuff on it, though kate's keyboard playing leaves something to be desired. good stuff, glad you're enjoying it. check out some early verve (the ep, the early singles and a storm in heaven) for some similar great spacey stuff. heck the first time i saw radiohead it was because i really wanted to see the opening band, spiritualized.
