lizish
They only made a limited number... 10,000 cds maybe? Which doesn't seem that limited. I pulled that one out for the first time in a while, and at the time it was excellent, but they are soooooo much better live now that you're better off dl'ing one of the many recent shows from archive.org. Yeah - heard that as well. I missed the last tour and am sort of kicking myself. I think it turned out they had like 100 people on stage at the Fall's TO show. oh well. Next time. Vacant Horizon
Memphis Moon is track two of The Sun Session EP !I actually really like The Old Black Hen. Peoria Lunch Box Blues is good too, I just don't think whats her face has a flattering voice for that song. you're right! damn, i am just having a hard time figuring out what sessions songs were from. thanks for the correction. so it seems like What Comes After the Blues was a session and then Fading Trails has tunes pulled from different sessions. seems like we're due some new MEC this year? hey, have you ever heard Amalgamated Sons of Rest...that project with Oldham, Molina, and some other dude? I wonderd if it was worth picking up. Anyway, this thread is really getting me on a Molina kick. Really trying to digest Pyramid Electric Co. It was warm enough to have the windows open here last night and the rain was coming down. So i lit a candle wallowed in the album. Great, great stuff if you give it the time. Vacant Horizon
awesome interview with Molina from last year. He talks about his 'symbolic language' he uses in his songs. ya know, moon, darkness, ghosts. really neat stuff about song writing and his life. FYI-Ghost Tropic is quickly becoming a favorite! http://www.popmatters.com/pm/features/arti...ia-electric-co/ Craig
