Meso
Does anyone know a good program for ripping audio from DVDs or video files? Preferably shareware. I have a bunch of things I'd love to put on my iPod but only have in video format currently. Thanks!
cryptique
If all else fails, you can always download Audacity and use it to capture the audio stream as it runs through your sound card. It's not the easiest program to use, but it does the trick and it's free.

Unfortunately my laptop's sound card leaves a lot to be desired. I'd love to just be able to get the original audio from, say, "I'm Always In Love" on the IATTBYH DVD. Just sayin'! For PC:DVD Audio Extractorhttp://www.vnunet.com/vnunet/downloads/215...audio-extractor For Mac:Cinematize 2 http://www.miraizon.com/products/products.html I think you can get both of them on Oink. I use Cinematize 2 and have never been dissapointed with the results.
