Analogman Posted January 6, 2007 Share Posted January 6, 2007 LONDON -- Two British films, "Casino Royale" and "The Queen," lead the long list for the Orange British Academy Film Awards with 14 entries each, the organization said Friday. Other multiple-nominees include "Pan's Labyrinth," "Babel," "Children of Men" and "The Departed," with 13 nominations each, "The Last King of Scotland" and "Little Miss Sunshine" with 12, and "Volver" and "Dreamgirls" with 10 each. Friday's initial BAFTA long list sees 15 nominations in each category. The second round, to be announced next Friday, will see the selection reduced to five films in each category. Other nominations for best film included: "Bobby" (eight nominations), "The Devil Wears Prada" (nine), "Notes on a Scandal" (nine), "Flags of Our Fathers" (eight), "United 93" (seven) and "The History Boys" (five). link Quote Link to post Share on other sites
