ckc
You are in (or already live in) Chicago to see a wonderful benefit concert by our beloved, talented, and entertaining Jeff Tweedy. If you are wondering what to do after the wonderful SSS Vic security people rudely tell you "PEOPLE, YOU MUST LEAVE THE VENUE!!!" I've got just the thing. It is supposed to be cold that night (a low of 24 degrees) so you don't want to be hanging outside the Vic. You shouldn't go to some greasy spoon to stuff yourself with your 4th meal of the day either. Sleep? You can do that when you are dead. Come to the Beat Kitchen and see The Honeydogs! They released a great album last year called "Amygdala" and have been playing a good mix of old and new tunes on their recent mini-tours. Friday April 6Beat Kitchen2100 W. Belmont (a short 1.5 mile cab ride West of The Vic)Chicago, IL$10.00 Cover18 and Over show (MORGS!!!!!!) HoneydogsCanasta -- these guys are great tooMark Mallman Show starts @ 9:30pm, but with 3 acts The Honeydogs shouldn't hit the stage until ~11:30, you should have enough time after Jeff's set (even including the stealth Wilco encore) Seriously, please consider coming out to support The Honeydogs. They put on a great live show.
