Just got this CD in the mail today, and I'm quite pleased that it isn't going to be relegated to the stack of crappy promos on my desk.

 

The lead singer/songwriter plays a lapsteel so it's sort of country-ish... but it seems kind of show-gazey to me as well.

Yeah, they're really good... the most recent album I had through on promo but it kinda driffted out of focus, there wasn't much of a push on it in the end.

And, in my opinion, it's better than the latest one...

Real good feature on TLTC here. Check 'em/her out live, there's a whole other dimension to the songs as Megan attacks the lap steel (drew blood at SXSW this year). She's also very engaging, and she likes my dancing . Plus she puts her dog in publicity photos.
