MKHstudios Posted November 8, 2007 Share Posted November 8, 2007 Chuck and (the new) Mission Express ripped a 2hour 10 minute set tonight at the Iron Horse in Northampton. An intimate Noho venue run by the same group that has brought JT/Wilco to the Calvin Theater and Pines Theater. Prophet's set was a mix of his new album 'Soap & Water', some newly arranged favorites and older records. This show literally brought people to their feet halfway - inspiring a second level dancing section. Chuck's vocals are rich with power and emotion and he can rip a telecaster with the best of them. They are playing in NYC at Joe's Pub 2 shows on Thurs 11/8 and in Philly at the Tin Angel on 11/9. Balt after that and then south. Guaranteed rockin night of rock & roll. See you in Philly.
