benjamin
Found this on digg today. Thought I would share a good laugh. Who doesn't love a carnival?
the_fliz1
That is funny stuff. I like how they refered to the Carnies as "carnival service personnel". Also, a little tip for the kiddies, take it from a person who was an industrial maintenance man for 10 years and is now an Electrical Engineer - Never, and I mean ever, get on those damn rides if you value your life. They are about the most unsafe things you will ever see.
Mrs. Peel
I NEVER go to these things. I refuse to ride high speed upside down rides that can be constructed and dismantled in 20 minutes. Thanks for this though, I love it! And by the way, that picture with the stacked up pallets supporting a leg of that ride...did you notice the leg next to it isn't sitting on ANYTHING??? bigshoulders
Local carnivals are synonymous with safety . I see the tens of cables strung securely to the ground and know that if this ride did get stuck upside down, I could merely slide down one of these cables to get in the back of the line and ride it again.I nearly spit up when I read that!great find. thanks for the laugh! b.s. Duck-Billed Catechist
That Magnum Moonjump is totally baffling. It pleases me.
