robbiewk
Enjoy Fam The very first filmed appearance of The Primitives. Jeff Tweedy appears to be wearing a dress: Another Primitives video. You can hear the punk roots here: Early Uncle Tupelo playing... KISS? I guess they did play KISS covers beautiful and stoned: Jeff Tweedy's first song. Played by another band called Joe Camel and the Caucasians, which is a pretty damn cool band name: Uncle Tupelo covers Dylan. They appear to be playing on a water tower: First TV appearance playing Graveyard shift. Farrar definitely looks like Cobain here: Uncle Tupelo - Whiskey Bottle: Uncle Tupelo performs Gun: Uncle Tupelo - No Depression:
LouisvilleGreg
These links have been posted before, but they never get old. Wilco is my favorite band and has been for many years, but there is a sense of urgency and unpredicatbility in those UT videos that perhaps only 20 year olds have. I dig it.
