upallnightfm Posted August 1, 2008 Share Posted August 1, 2008 Hey guys. I wanted to share my new music blog page with everyone. It can be found on tumblr at www.splithairs.tumblr.com. I have posted here on and off before- couldn't remember my last sn or password- BUT The page right now is by far mostly links to other music news, but my goal is to expand the page to be very user friendly. If you scroll back, you will notice I have posted iTunes top 10's and band suggestions from a few of my readers, and I hope to do a lot more of that soon. I started off with an interview, and I have a BIG interview coming up as well. As Wilco fans, a lot of us have similiar taste in other bands, so I thought this page my serve interest to the posters. I also had the chance to post my first exclusive already! At a private event over the weekend, Emerson Hart of Tonic announced to the crowd that the band was reuniting to record again. Yeah, this event was held by the coordinators of Rock Boat, and Emerson was there promo-ing his solo album. Its not necessarily a reflection of personal taste. Fuck, in the blogging era it is quite difficult to find ANYTHING that hasn't already been plastered all over the www. The announcements that No Depression AND Mojo were closing up shop back to back was intense. As the world converts to getting their news online more and more, mags keep losing advertisers and either closing or dropping their pay fees for freelancers.
