Charlotte or Otis: Duets for Children, Their Parents and Other People Too

Ahem, *lost Canadian* album of 2008. Pretty interesting regardless. Jenny Mitchell and Andy Magoffin just had a baby boy, Otis, last month and like all musicians, made a CD about it.

 

The thing was a duets collaboration with, amoung others Jim Guthrie (Royal City), Tony Dekker (Great Lake Swimmers), Andy Swan (Andy Swan) and Win Butler (no need for the band reference), but unfortunately, a couple days before the baby and the cd were set to drop, Arcade Fire's Management prevented the release on Weewerk records. It sounds like everything was printed up and burnt, so I bet there is a batch of 200 cds sitting around somewhere.

Anywho, its available on Zunior as a download, minus the Butler song, but I'm gonna go try to exchange baby shower type gifts for a copy of the real thing.
