billydee
I'm not sure if this has been discussed yet, but just a heads up...tickets were sold for different seating locations. If your tickets say "Stands" you will not be allowed on the field and the reverse is true for the tickets that say "Field". I received mine through Wilco ticketing and received "Field" tickets, but a lot of people I know who got them through "The Grand" box office received "Stands" tickets. If you would prefer to be on the field, as I would assume most of you would, and have stands tickets then you might want to contact The Grand and see if you can swap them for field tickets.I have a friend with that issue. He just bought his ticket last week from the Grand and got the Stands GA ticket. They told him the Field GA seats were sold out.We all have Field GA. I'm thinking we could just shuttle him down unless of course they do the wristband thing. We'll get him down there somehow...

I don't think the GA section matters, this is from the Wilco website:"Tickets for this show are general admission; the field will be standing room and the stadium has general admission seating. Your ticket gives you access to either."Coming down from South Jersey, looking forward to a beautiful night with Wilco.

Christopher Scott
I bought tickets back on May 5th and after reading these posts and checking my tickets I found out I have "stands"tickets. I was actually relieved considering that I am going to the show with my wife and we are both 40 somethingand our old bodies are not inclined to long periods of standing. I would gladly tolerate the strain for a good Wilcoperformance. My wife I'm sure does not share my dedication. It pains me to hear how good the show at the Grand was. I found out about it too late last year and it was sold out by that time. I did see Bright Eyes and John Prine there and I was disappointed that Wilco was not playing there again this year. Ah well. Anyhow this is my first Wilco show and I am really looking forward to it, especially with Nels Cline in the line up.See you at Frawley it should be a beautiful night! They explained to me that if you have "stands" tickets you will not be allowed on the field and that will be enforced. They do not want the field to be overcrowded and having field tickets myself, I applaud them for that. Although, I'm sure it will be no problem to stub people down to the field. It's gonna be a great night. A bunch of us are meeting up at the Iron Hill Brewery across from the stadium at about 5:30. I'll be the guy with the Geraldine Fibbers shirt. Cya then.
