Dude
The guy probably can't go two interviews in a row without having to discuss the 800-pound gorilla in the room. http://blogs.phoenixnewtimes.com/uponsun/2009/07/son_volts_jay_farrar_talks_abo.php UP: And, I have to ask this question. I'm just curious: have you heard the new Wilco record?JF: I have not. I've heard people talk about it, say it's coming out. UP: So you don't really keep up with that stuff?JF: I don't keep up with much that's contemporary. But, I think if it's safe to say some of it I would like and some of it I would not. UP: I guess you kind of buried that hatchet to put out (Uncle Tupelo's) Anthology a few years back.JF: You know, we didn't directly work together but certainly we had to agree on the content. So, yes, the hatchet's buried, a long time ago.

Dude
Inevitable link to a threadwhere this is already being discussed! Belongs in Just a Fan though, not buried in some thread in a different forum. It directly pertains to Wilco. At least that's how I see it.

What this interview (and every interview, annually) says to me is that there isn't a gorilla in the room until the journalist rents one from a zoo and puts it there. This is the usual, "I don't care, we're not mad, how many times do we have to say this?" situation.

There was some bad blood there for a while.
