lucky13
Taking a road trip with 3 buddies first stop is Chicago for a White Sox game and 2 nights then up to Milwaukee for a Brewers game for 1 night. Looking for suggestions on hotels preferable around the entertainment district in Chicago and Milwaukee, ie restaurants/bars etc. The guys went to Chicago last year for a Cubs game and stayed at the Hyatt Mccormick Place....but up to other suggestions Cheers

If you want a nice cool place to stay in Milwaukee, book a room at the Iron Horse Hotel. It's new - renovated warehouse space. Very nice. I think the prices are decent. Otherwise I'd stay at the Intercontinental or Metro. Those are both downtown. The Iron Horse is close to the Harley museum.
LouieB
See the what to do in Chicago thread for hotels, restaurants and other info. Hotel suggestions should be stuck up there so every one can benefit in the future. As you will notice there is no one entertainment district in Chicago. The Sox play on the southside and there are now more places to eat and hang out near the ball park. Check out Bridgeport and the area around McCormick Place for places to stay and eat also. Again see the what to do in Chicago thread. I talk about the southside quite a bit, more than most people care about. The near southside is actually quite nice, safer, historical and worth exploring.
