I know there's at least someone around here that's from Memphis. Looking for some help planning a weekend jaunt down with the lady.

 

We're going because we want to see Graceland. But aside from that, we have no idea where to go/stay/eat. What area should I look for a hotel in? What bars and restaurants should we hit? Any other attractions we should be checking out? Sun Studios? Should I check out one of the BBQ joints Guy Fieri hit up on his show? Is BBQ the way to go in Memphis? Is there a great blues bar to check out? Is Beale Street a good idea or no? I've heard conflicting things.

 

I think we're just going to be there on a Saturday afternoon/night, then Sunday we're checking out Graceland and then heading to Tunica, MS to do a little gambling.

Be warned...a lot of places are closed on Sundays AND Mondays.
