Guest Speed Racer
I don't have sound on my computer, but isn't that James Alley Blues? You can find out about that song in the Non-Album Tracks thread pinned at the top of this forum.

choo-choo-charlie
It's a terrific song. Love hearing it in the Wilco live recordings from about 1997-1999.
Guest Speed Racer
I feel bad saying this, considering that was posted as a memorial, but I love the song a hell of a lot better straight-up acoustic, without Jay's piano. That particular brand of his piano playing never did it for me, and I think this song in particular benefits highly from a one-guitar arrangement.

In my opinion, Jay was a fine pianist who actually had a little bit of his own voice. I love, love, love the live recording of he and Jeff from November 1996 - the C'est What. I actually prefer his piano licks to a lot of the big, swelling, overdone keyboards and organs. Ok, just some.
