Alive
Yesterday Jeff Tweedy played in Madrid right after Spain won the Semifinal against Germany. He was really nice and congratulated us for the victory of Spain.Musically, Tweedy did a wonderful concert. The connection between him and the audience was beautiful and he was in a really good mood, making some jokes between songs. He played around and 1h and 45min and unfortunately he didn't play much longer.....but Thanks Jeff anyway! setlist. bböp
Thanks for the report! Sounds like a fun show. What was the venue like? You guys got some pretty cool songs that he doesn't always do in his typical solo shows...ELT, So Much Wine, Not For The Season, even Hummingbird (which he has said is kind of hard to play solo). Alive
yeah! the venues was a regular stage outside(almost too big for Jeff alone)with a part of people were standing and behind a terrace with people sitting. Veranos de la Villa is a every year summer festival in Madrid with many concerts every day. At the same stage where Jeff played Artists like Patti Smith, Elvis Costello, The Wailers or Sinnead O'Connor are going to play there.
