dhopf
Hey guys, Sorry this isn't Wilco related, but I'm a beginning guitar player and I'm having a tough time tabbing the Fleet Foxes' new song, "Sim Sala Bim," particularly the solo riff near the 2 minute mark. I can't get the riff out of my head and I want to be able to play it so bad. It looks really easy, I'm just not much of a guitar player yet and have never tabbed, so I was hoping someone could figure it out. Here's a link to the Youtube video of the song; there's a close-up on Robin's fingers during the riff around 2:20 (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m33jJRZhtl8) If any awesome person has a minute and wants to do this I'd really appreciate it. Thanks!
GtrPlyr
You'll need to tune your guitar to a C based tuning for this song and use a capo at the 5th fret. guitar tuning low strings to high: 6 = C5 = G4 = C3 = G2 = B?1 = C Here's a simplified version of it to get you started: C--------------------B--------------------G--------------------C-----p--------------G--8-7-5------5------C--------10-9---7-5--
