MountainGerbil
Any luck? I snagged Row A (1st Night) after logging on immediately. Anyone know if there are seats in the pit?
bayoubengal07
I got row E (first night). I tried twice to get seats in the pit, but they were already sold out.
MountainGerbil
Are there actual seats in the pit, or will it be GA? Whatever. Anything in the first 10 rows is fantastic.
bayoubengal07
I think it's actual seats in the pit. You are right though anything in the first ten is great! Have you ever been to a show at the State Theatre? I have only seen Wilco at Roy Wilkins and in Duluth, which I am making the drive from.
MountainGerbil
No, I haven't, but it's right on Hennepin and very convenient for bars and public transit. Saw them in Duluth as well (though not in Roy Wilkins). Judging from the seat map, State Theatre looks nicer than both. Going to try for 2nd night tickets but will probably have to settle for something farther back.
MountainGerbil
Bump for regular on-sale info. Got row X (floor) for Wed. night. Has anyone seen a show at the State Theatre?
Al.Ducts
I got 4 tickets for the second row on the right side of the balcony (Dec. 6th). I then returned home to find the deluxe cd waiting for me! So Saturday was basically Wilco-Christmas for me. Or Wilchristmas. A friend of mine recently saw Fleet Foxes at the State and was really impressed with the place. I saw Sufjan Stevens at the Orpheum Theater last winter and another friend (who occasionally works at the State Theater box office) said the two were comparable. Both seem like beautiful spaces with good sound. This will be my first seated Wilco show and 3rd overall. I'm really excited.

Has anyone seen a show at the State Theatre?Saw Frank Black/They Might Be Giants year ago. Very close. I really like it as a music venue...FWIW.
